Helping the people who have been affected by the fire incident at New Lucky House on Jordan Road in Yau Ma Tei

Fire

A No 3 alarm fire broke out in the New Lucky House on Jordan Road, Yau Ma Tei, on April 10th, causing multiple casualties and injuries. The Yan Chai Hospital is deeply concerned about the plight of those affected, especially the impoverished and vulnerable communities, who have been caught in the midst of this disaster.

Our “Yan Chai Emergency Assistance Relief Fund” dispatched personnel immediately after the fire to register assistance applications for the homeless victims and distributed supermarket vouchers to alleviate their urgent needs. Additionally, the Fund will provide medical assistance of 5,000 dollars to each hospitalized victim and funeral assistance of 20,000 dollars to the families of the deceased.

Application forms for assistance can be downloaded here, and those in need can call 8100 7711 for further information.

If you wish to support the relief efforts of the “Yan Chai Emergency Assistance Relief Fund”, please donate now. The donation will not deduct administrative expenses and will be entirely used for charitable work in Hong Kong, ensuring that those in need directly benefit.
