Teaching Programme

Yan Chai cooperated again with Wall Street English and launched the “WSE-YCH English Enhancement 3-Year Programme”. With the generous donation of both Mr. BOU Shing-ip, Board Director and Wall Street English, making not less than $1 million annual contribution starting from 2016/2017. The Programme will provide free English courses to our affiliated secondary school students for 3 years, assisting about 400 students. The Programme includes Pre-scholarship Course, General English Improvement Course and DSE Preparation Course. Students will receive training from Form 4 until they take the HKDSE and their overall performances will then be evaluated. To signify the launching of this 3-Year Programme, we held a kick-off ceremony on 28 November 2016 at our Wong Wha San Secondary School.

With the generous donation of both Mr. BOU Shing-ip, Board Director and Wall Street English, making a $1 million contribution, the Programme provided 90 free English course places to our under-privileged students of our affiliated secondary schools. The courses are provided by Wall Street English in an interesting and interactive way, therefore students can learn English in a relaxing environment. To signify the launching of this Programme, we held a kick-off ceremony cum sharing session on 24 February 2016 at our Wong Wha San Secondary School. We will continue to work with Wall Street English and organize much more useful English activities to our students. We aim at building up a fun English environment, so as to enhance students’ ability to use English and increase their interest in learning English.
