Social Services

Yan Chai Hospital commenced social services in 1978.  Since then, the Board Office of Yan Chai Hospital continues to expand the scope of services in addressing the growing needs of the general public.

We now have over 60 service units, including 18 self-financed service units and 5 special projects, providing mainly 4 types of service: elderly, rehabilitation, youth and child care services as well as professional training services.

We strive for prudence in corporate governance. Under sound financial management, subventions and varieties of donations are allotted for enhancement of service quality, staff training, procurement of additional facilities and information technology development.

Currently, Yan Chai Hospital Social Services Department has around 2,000 staff posts. We will keep abreast with the changing needs of the society so as to provide both proactive and responsive services to the community at large.
