Yan Chai Hospital Wan Shing Memorial Day Care Centre for the Elderly

Target Service User:

Those elderly persons who are referred to us must be:

aged 60 or above;

assessed to be in state of either moderate or severe level of impairment by the Standardised Care Need Assessment Mechanism for Elderly Services;

suitable for day care services without any infective disease;

living in the community and not receiving institutional service; and

whose carers are unable to provide full-time care

Facility:

We provide comfortable environment to our elders, including dining hall, nursing room, exercise room, activity room, pantry, bathroom and toilets. According to our elders’ abilities, we have various nursing facilities and equipments on physiotherapy and occupational therapy for providing good care towards our elders.
