Outreach Dental Care Programme for the Elderly

An outreach dental team has been formed under the Outreach Dental Care Programme for the elderly organized by the Department of Health to provide professional oral health services to elders in Tsuen Wan, Kwai Tsing, Wan Chai and Eastern district.  Meanwhile, we are invited by the Hong Kong Dental Association to take part in the Elderly Dental Assistance Programme which is organized by Community Care Fund.  This programme aims to address the dental needs of elders with underserved portion of the community.  We have also taken part in the Community Care Fund – Elderly Dental Assistance Expanded Programme which aims at addressing the dental needs of elders with provision of free removable dentures and other related dental services.
